Declaration Form
Undergraduate students who are interested in declaring a Minor in Creative Writing may do so at any time before the Spring of their Senior year. If you are in the College of Arts & Sciences, please fill out the Declaration Form and return it to the Creative Writing Program, 58 West 10th St. If you are a student in Stern, Steinhardt, Tisch, Gallatin, or SCPS, you will need to declare your Creative Writing Minor in your home department.

Advanced Workshop Application Form
Undergraduate students who are interested in applying for an Advanced Writing Workshop need to submit the Advanced Workshop Application Form (accompanied by a work sample). Advanced Applications for Fall were due Monday, April 2nd.

Students may only apply for one Advanced Workshop per semester. Please contact the Creative Writing Program if you have any questions regarding the application process.

In addition to the application form, students will need to submit the following writing samples:

Advanced Poetry Workshops: 3 poems
Advanced Fiction Workshops: One story or fiction excerpt (1500 words max)
Advanced Creative Nonfiction Workshops: One story or personal essay excerpt (1500 words max)
