Writers in New York 2013 > How to Enroll

If you are an NYU student, please fill out the Writers in New York Permission Form. You will be asked to indicate your preferred genre of study--fiction, creative nonfiction, or poetry--and to provide a short writing sample.

If you are a visiting student, please fill out the Summer in NYC Visiting Student Application. Once you have submitted this application, please fill out the Writers in New York Permission Form.

All students will receive an email response to the Writers in New York Permission Form from the Creative Writing Program within ten business days. If accepted, you will receive a permission number and instructions on how to register for Writers in New York.

Note to international students: The application deadline for international students is March 15. See here for details, including important visa information.

Eligibility

Writers in New York is open to NYU and visiting students, including continuing education students and non-students. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent by May 28, 2013 to apply. Additional information regarding eligibility can be found here.
