Marcelle Clements

Marcelle Clements is a novelist, essayist, and journalist. Her fourth and most recent book is a novel, Midsummer. She has written prizewinning essays and articles for many national publications, including the New York Times, Esquire, Elle, Ms., and Rolling Stone. Some of these works have been anthologized in the collection The Dog Is Us. Since 1999, she has taught Proust at NYU, where she is a Collegiate Professor. For the last two years, she has led fiction workshops in the NYU Creative Writing Program
