David Lipsky
David Lipsky is a contributing editor at
Rolling Stone magazine.
He's a graduate of
Brown University
and the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars. His fiction and non-fiction have
appeared in
The New Yorker,
Harper's Magazine,
The Best American Short Stories,
The New York Times,
The New York Times Book Review, and many others.
He's the author of two novels,
The Art Fair
and
The Pallbearer, a collection of stories,
Three Thousand Dollars, and the
non-ficiton book
Absolutely American, which was a
Time Magazine Best Book of
the Year.
He contributes as a essaysist
to to NPR's
All Things Considered, he's taught at Deerfield and Johns Hopkins,
is the recipient of a Lambert Fellowship, a Media Award from GLAAD, a
Henfield/Transatlantic Review award, a Henry Hoyns Fellowship.
He lives in
New York City.
